As COVID-19 made its indelible impact across the world, communities across the nation mobilized in various ways to inform and enact measures to improve health opportunities for individuals and families. The St. Stephens Church partnered with Yale to offer community-based vaccination clinics. Many young people and their family members lined up at the church to receive their shot of hope. This clinic was important because in a time of uncertainty there is a sense of relief and comfort for people when they walk through the doors of a trusted place and are greeted with a smile from a trusted community influence.
