Our Pastor

Reverend Dr. Leroy Odinga Perry Pastor, St. Stephens AME Zion Church and Cultural Ambassador to the Yale Clinical Research program

The Reverend Dr. Leroy O. Perry is the Pastor of St. Stephens AME Zion Church. He earned his BA from Livingstone College, his MDiv from Yale Divinity, STM and doctoral degree from New York Theological Seminary in New York City.

Dr Perry hails from Roanoke, VA and grew up in Waterbury, CT where he graduated from Walsh and Webster Elementary Schools, and Wilby High School.

Having pastored in Harlem and his home church, Mt. Olive AME Zion, he presently serves as senior pastor to the St Stephens Church, Branford CT. In addition to his work as pastor, Dr. Perry presently serves as the Director of the Fatherhood Initiative program at New Opportunities Inc, Waterbury, CT and as a YCCI Cultural Ambassador for the past ten years.
